Spicy Popcorn


3 cups air popped corn
2 - 4+ tbsp Sriracha (depends on how spicy you want it)
1 tbs melted, clarified Butter (or Olive Oil)
few drops of lemon juice OR a medium pinch of Lemon Zest
Pinch Salt
Pinch Pepper
1) Incorporate all ingredients besides popcorn into a large bowl and mix completely

2) Mix in popcorn 1/2 a cup at a time
3) consume

Greek Islands Humus

We sat with Sam while he gave us the recipe and explained that the popularity of the hummus is due to its fresh ingredients, including lemon juice, garlic and parsley processed with the canned chickpeas and just the right amount of extra-virgin olive oil, salt and fresh-ground black pepper.

Appetizers – Alouette Garlic et Herbes Spreadable Cheese

Mini-Quiche Appetizers:
Blend ½ C milk, 2 eggs and 1 pkg Alouette. Fill two 2.1 oz pikgs mini-phyllo shells and bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until set. Makes 30 appetizers.

Stuffed Mushrooms:
Clean 18 mushrooms and remove stems. Place hollow side up on baking sheet. Fill with 1 tsp Alouette and sprinkle with seasoned bread crumbs. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Garnish and serve.

Provencal Flatbread:
Spread Alouette on pre-baked 7: gourmet latbread. Top with your favorite topping choices such as olives, peppers, sundried or cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, shrimp or chicken and bake until the cheese bubbles. Cut into small wedges and serve ans an appetizer. Serves 4

Cheeseball--Pineapple

You may already have this recipe but I did not. It is really yummy and people go crazy over it!!
Pineapple Cheeseball
2 8 ounce cream cheese
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 8 ounce can crushed pineapple(drained)
1 tsp. seasoned salt
2 TBS. chopped onions
2 cups chopped pecans(hold one cup for outside of cheeseball)
Mix all ingredients together and form into a ball. Cover with nuts and chill. Serve with crackers.

Dip--Shirley's Fruit

Shirley’s Fruit Dip
1 7oz Marshmellow Cream
1 8 oz cream cheese
1 8 oz carton sour cream
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

Artichoke Cheese Squares

Artichoke Cheese Squares
1/3 C chopped green onions
1 clove garlic
2 T oil
4 eggs, beaten
14-oz. Can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/4 C bread crumbs
½ lb. Gruyere cheese, shredded
1 ½ T parsley
½ t salt
1/4 t crushed oregano
1/8 t freshly ground pepper.
Saute onions and garlic in oil. Combine beaten eggs, artichokes, bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt, oregano and peper. Mix well and pour into buttered 9 x 13 92 inch pan. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
